Principal's Message:

Welcome to the Florence Rideout Elementary School where every child is valued and immersed in an educationally nurturing safe environment which focuses on the education of the whole child. In educating the whole child, we believe in maximizing the cognitive, emotional, and social growth of all students through sharing our vision, collaborating, planning, implementing decisions, and reflecting on their effectiveness utilizing data. Our vision incorporates all members of the Florence Rideout School Community working together in unison as partners in the education of our students to the fullest.

We strive to be an inclusive school where all students are taught together and develop cognitively, emotionally, and socially to their highest potential. Our standards are high for all students as we believe all children can learn, as we all have not only individual needs, but also individual strengths. Cooperative learning, flexible grouping, peer tutoring, differentiated instruction, and collaboration by highly skilled and energized teachers and teaching assistants will propel all students to succeed.

Our vision is that all students will develop competencies and skills needed to build a solid foundation for life-long learning buoyed by continued success at school to become confident caring vibrant citizens of our community.
