About FRES
District Mission Statement
Florence Rideout Elementary School provides a positive learning environment for all students and prepares them for their future educational experiences. Students develop academically, socially and emotionally in a caring atmosphere that encourages success. As a community of learners, our students and staff promote respect, responsibility, and safety at our school following the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) model.
District Demographic Description
The Town of Wilton (pop. 3,743) is located in south central New Hampshire in Hillsborough County (pop. 398,574). This rural school district consists of one school, Florence Rideout Elementary, with 305 students in grades K-6, and 50 staff members. The Wilton District is part of School Administrative Unit #63 which is made up of four separate school districts. For grades 7-12, Florence Rideout students attend Wilton-Lyndeborough Cooperative High School located in Wilton.
